  • WHY SA Media?

  • WHAT'S THE PROJECT PROCESS LIKE?
    To let you in on a secret, it is well before the contract that we would have already started working on broadly understanding your requirements. Once we've completed the mandatory several rounds of intense, nail biting negotiations :-), we'll jump right in to the ideating & scripting process. We're big believers that a great concept and a solid script are crucial to a successful video project. After you fill out a creative brief and spend some time with us on a discovery call, we'll present several concepts for you to choose from. From there we'll develop a written script and follow that up with a visual storyboard. Depending on the type of project - we'll then start on the production and polish things off with the most professional voice over, layered with an engaging music and sound design.
  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE A PROJECT?
    Mmmmm, again, it depends. A project can take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months, but on average you can expect 3-6 weeks. Part of this depends on the time required for production and the rest depends on how quickly you, the client, provide feedback, how many revisions are requested, and how complex the changes are. However, we'll provide you with a production schedule and key milestones when we commence the project.
  • SO SA Media IS JUST A VIDEO PRODUCTION OUTFIT, ISN'T IT?
    Actually, SA Media works a little differently than a standard video production company. We understand what businesses need, to fulfil their objective, and betting big on our business communication skills, we offer you some of the most out-of-the-box solutions. While all of the creative direction, scripting, and project management is typically done in-house, we collaborate with a collective of superb designers, directors, voices, composers, and sound designers from around the world (and even some in our own office). Depending on what you're looking for, we'll assemble a mini team to bring it to life. This setup gives us the flexibility to provide an endless range of styles and continually produce fresh, unique creative work.
  • COULD YOU ADVISE ME ON HOW LONG MY VIDEO SHOULD BE?
    Given the abysmally short attention spans we have these days, try to keep videos as short and crisp as possible (90-180 seconds) while still conveying all of the necessary information. Often this means we can't cover everything that everyone desires. But that's okay. A typical video is meant to give viewers just enough information to get them interested in taking the next step which may be - calling your representative, or requesting a demo or more info, signing up for a trial, etc.
  • WHAT TYPES OF VIDEOS DO WE OFFER?
    If it's video, and it's online, we can probably do it. Having a successful online video strategy means producing a lot of different types of video content, which is why we produce branding videos, Video adverts & TV commercials, company story videos, customer testimonial videos, demo videos, instructional videos and more. We specialize in creating compelling videos to help fulfil your business objective.
  • WHAT'S INVOLVED IN GETTING STARTED?
    For starters, get in touch and let us know what you're looking for. Once we have a good understanding of your goals and objectives, we'll provide a formal estimate. Assuming you approve, we'll send across an Agreement along with an initial invoice for 40% of the project total. We'll also provide a creative brief and schedule a start off call with your dedicated project manager and creative director to review the materials before officially getting started.
  • HOW DO FEEDBACK AND REVISIONS WORK?
    Creating a video is a team effort and your collaboration is key to producing a successful one. At each step in the process, you will have up to 2 rounds of revisions.
  • WHO OWNS THE RIGHTS TO THE VIDEO?
    The client owns the rights to all the final content produced for him, once the project is complete.
